You can help by supporting our annual fundraising events throughout the year. We are always looking for local volunteers to help out, so please get in touch if you are interested.

Award winner
The Newmarket play park committee were nominated and became joint winners in 2016 of the volunteer of the year award which was held in Stornoway
Fun days and community days
We hold two fun days in the park each year, one in May and one in October. This is to help raise funds for the annual maintenance, but also it is to bring our community closer together. We also hold two community clean up days a year to give the community a chance to come along and help with some of the play area maintenance giving them a sense of ownership of the park.

​
We are at present upgrading some of our existing equipment ensuring a safe play area for the local community. We are also in the process of applying for funding for the continuation of the river walk and also eco friendly toilets to ehnance and improve the area for the local comunmunities physical and mental health and well being
